Dr. Soheila Azghadi is a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist dedicated to providing cutting-edge, compassionate cancer care.

Dr. Azghadi graduated with honors from UCLA in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology, where she contributed to stem cell research developing novel treatments for neurodegenerative diseases and cancer. She earned her medical degree from the UC Davis School of Medicine, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and received the American Medical Women’s Association Achievement Award. She completed her residency at the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center, serving as Chief Resident in her final year.

Her impactful research in gynecologic, breast, and genitourinary cancers has earned national and international recognition. She has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, holds leadership roles in major radiation oncology societies, and received the Radiological Society of North America Roentgen Research Award in 2021. Dr. Azghadi has extensive experience treating a broad spectrum of malignancies, including breast, gynecologic, genitourinary, lung, head and neck, gastrointestinal, and central nervous system cancers, as well as benign conditions such as osteoarthritis.

Clinically, she specializes in advanced radiation techniques including brachytherapy, stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), image-guided radiotherapy, and accelerated partial breast irradiation.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Azghadi enjoys hiking, biking, and jogging outdoors with her husband and two sons, bringing the same energy and dedication to her family as she does to her patients.
