Ramesh Gopal, MD, PhD trained in radiation oncology at The University of
Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and has a PhD in
Molecular Pharmacology and Biological Chemistry from Northwestern
University in Chicago. He is board certified in Radiation Oncology by the
American Board of Radiology.
He brings 20 years of experience of cutting-edge multidisciplinary oncology
care and academic medicine from Presbyterian MD Anderson Radiation
Treatment Center in Albuquerque where he served as Medical Director.
Through his long affiliation with MD Anderson Cancer Center our patients
have access to disease-specific and evidence-based guidelines, treatment
plans and best practices that are among the most advanced in the nation.
He is passionate about radiation therapy techniques that minimize the
exposure of normal tissues to radiation in order to reduce side-effects.
Dr. Gopal believes that although technology and equipment are important,
it is the clinical team who are the key to providing the best patient
experience.

Dr. Lanceford Chong brings more than 20 years of experience to his role as the Medical Director at Meridian Park Radiation Oncology Center
(MPROC) which is located on the campus of Legacy Meridian Park Hospital. Dr. Chong received a medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, where he also completed a residency in radiation oncology and was appointed Chief Resident his senior year. He also holds a Master of Public Health degree in health services administration from the UCLA School of Public Health.
He brings his years of experience of cutting edge multidisciplinary oncology care and academic medicine from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City where he served on the senior faculty in the Department of Radiation Oncology.
